Youth Counselling

It’s never too early or too late to seek the support you need

It’s a fact of life that the teenage and early adult years can be tough. We live in an increasingly complex society and young people face many challenges as they search for their place in the world. It can also be tricky for parents as they try to help their children through this time. Accessing support however, can be embarrassing and confronting for teenagers.

I have a great rapport with young people and provide a sensitive, down to earth but professional environment. Throughout our sessions teenagers are helped to identify their goals and overcome life’s challenges. Head to my Therapies section to learn more about the ways I can help.

Appointments are available in person or via Zoom. I also provide outreach services to family homes in the Melbourne metro area and also work at schools independently but collaboratively with teachers and principals. The individual can chose which setting they feel most comfortable in.

If you are a concession card holder, have obtained a Mental Health Plan form your GP or make an outreach appointment sessions can be bulk billed, so you don’t have to worry about the added expense. I can always see you within a fortnight or earlier if you feel it’s more urgent which means there are minimal wait times and we can get started right away.

Some common referral issues are:

Learning difficulties, assessment and behaviour support, anxiety, depression, social skills and self-esteem, suicidal thinking and self-harm, trauma, grief and loss, anger issues, personality development, dealing with bullying and eating and body issues.

Services may include:
