Kylie Cooper

Kylie uses art-making and story as primary tools for exploring the deepest aspects of self and is working with Signs of Life Psychology to share these healing processes.

At the SOL Kylie works with Dr Lani Roy to design art-based workshops for industry service providers and consumers of mental health and disability services.

Kylie provides 1:1 creative arts support work and runs workshops using creative art-making for well-being and SOL’s monthly Invisible Bridge Art-Making Group. Art for well-being includes painting, drawing, nature-based art, visual journaling, collage and poetry and written journaling.

These art practices are designed to enhance personal reflection and to elaborate and integrate life experiences using creativity.

She has lived experiences of spiritual emergency and neurodivergence. She is devoted to inner work and is very curious about the psychological struggles it takes to reach beyond the self, what it takes to retreat and how the seasons are directly related to these processes.

Kylie hopes for a world where everyone feels connected enough to show up whole, where individuals can share their personal wisdom and feel empowered by their experiences.

Kylie has a lifelong love of the great mystery, mother nature and self-reflection. She has wide-ranging interests that include lots of books, gardening and animals. Kylie is a homeschooling mother of a neurodivergent child and a teacher’s wife. She can usually be found with a book and an array of art materials in her home studio on the Mornington Peninsula.
