Alana is passionate about teaching children to learn essential skills for life such as; stress management, relaxation skills, awareness, gratitude, compassion, empathy, ethics, and values. Throughout this course, children and young people will develop their own inner tool kit and have access to a range of tips, resources, and ideas so that they are able to improve their anger management skills.

Session Outlines

Session 1 provides a brief introduction into what anger is, and the brain function. This session includes fun activities and videos about ‘flipping your lid’ and identifying what makes students angry.

In session 2 we look at what anger looks like, sounds like and feels like. We are able to look at how anger affects our thoughts and emotions. It also features activities that assist students in identifying different emotions and how students feel anger in their body.
