Supervision Services

Since 2017, I have been providing clinical supervision, support and debriefing to professionals and students with referral links from a range of universities in Melbourne.

I also provide support to workers via their organization’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP.) These can be either face-to-face or via Skype or telephone, meeting the needs of those within metropolitan Melbourne and of people in rural and remote settings.  I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and a member of the Australian College of Social Work and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Supervision Philosophy

When I provide supervision I draw upon the bio-psycho-social-cultural and spiritual critical reflection framework. This framework helps to support personal and professional development in the supervisee as well as their clients.

Sessions incorporate a balance of academic approaches, theoretical knowledge, emotional support, person-centered, strengths-based and mindfulness interventions.

I draw upon my experience working in Government, Non-Government and Private Practice sectors and with a broad range of client groups and complex challenges.

My supervision sessions offer a safe place to ask the tough questions, process difficult emotions and work through clients issues. I place a strong emphasis on personal, professional and spiritual development particularly in the context of combating against vicarious trauma, burn out and compassion fatigue.
